Privacy at Brink

Brink ("Brink," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Brink application ("App") on your iPhone. Please read this policy carefully.

Brink may collect the following types of information:

• Account information (if you create an account, such as an email address)
• Usage and diagnostic data to improve the App (see Analytics section)
• Subscription and purchase information processed through Apple's App Store

Brink does not collect, transmit, or store your card or document images on Brink's servers for processing.

When you add a card or document to Brink, the image you capture or select is stored locally on your iPhone. Brink does not upload card or document images to Brink's cloud infrastructure for processing or any other purpose.

Card and document images remain in your device's local storage and within any iCloud backup you have configured for your device through Apple's standard iOS backup mechanisms. Brink does not separately upload your images to Brink's own servers.

Brink uses on-device processing to analyze images for the purpose of identifying likely cards and documents within your photo library. This analysis is performed entirely on your iPhone using capabilities provided by iOS. The image data analyzed for this purpose does not leave your device through Brink.

Brink's "Find cards & documents" feature may request access to your photo library in order to scan for images that appear to be cards or documents. Access is granted by you through iOS permissions at the time you use the feature.

Scanning is performed on-device. Images from your photo library are not uploaded to Brink's servers. Brink will present possible cards and documents to you for review before any item is added to your Brink library.

You can revoke photo library access at any time through your iPhone's Settings.

If Brink offers account creation, we may collect your email address or other sign-in information provided at registration. This information is used to manage your account and communicate with you about the service.

Brink may collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable usage and diagnostic data to understand how the App is used and to improve performance and reliability. This data does not include the content of your card or document images.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Brink does not directly handle payment card information. Apple's privacy policy governs transactions processed through the App Store.

Brink may integrate third-party services for analytics or operational purposes. Each third-party service has its own privacy practices. We do not share card or document image content with third parties.

Card and document images are stored on your device and are subject to your device storage and backup settings. Account information, if applicable, is retained for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the service.

You can delete individual cards and documents from within the App at any time. Deleting a card removes the stored image from your Brink library on your device.

To request deletion of any account data held by Brink, contact us at privacy@brinkcard.app.

Brink is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

If you are located outside the country in which Brink's services are operated, please be aware that any information you provide may be transferred to and processed in that country.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, through the App. Your continued use of Brink after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
