Everything you need to know about keeping your everyday cards within reach.
Getting Started
What is Brink?
Brink is a private card and document wallet for iPhone. It lets you save photos of everyday cards and documents — like library cards, gym passes, insurance cards, and membership cards — so you can find them quickly when you need them.
What kinds of cards can I add?
You can add library cards, gym passes, student IDs, health cards, insurance cards, parking permits, loyalty cards, membership cards, tickets, receipts, and other document photos you want quick access to.
How do I add a card?
Tap "Add Card" from the home screen, then choose to take a new photo or select an existing one from your photo library. Give the card a name and category, and it's saved to your Brink library.
Can I use an existing photo?
Yes. When adding a card, you can choose an existing photo from your iPhone photo library. Brink will process that image on your device.
Privacy
Does Brink upload my documents to the cloud?
No. Brink does not upload your card or document images to Brink's cloud for processing. Card and document image analysis is performed locally on your iPhone.
Where are my card images processed?
All card and document image processing happens on your iPhone using on-device capabilities provided by iOS. Your images are not sent to Brink's servers.
Why does Brink need access to Photos?
The "Find cards & documents" feature can scan your photo library to surface images that may be cards or documents you'd like to save. Photo access is optional and can be revoked at any time through your iPhone's Settings.
Does Brink use my card images to train AI models?
No. Brink does not upload card or document images to Brink's cloud for processing or model training. Your card and document images are processed on your device and are not used to train models.
Find Cards
How does Find Cards work?
"Find cards & documents" scans your iPhone photo library on-device to surface images that appear to be cards or documents. It presents potential matches for you to review before adding anything to your library.
Does Brink automatically add cards it finds?
No. Brink presents suggested cards and documents for your review. You decide which ones to add to your library. Nothing is added automatically.
Can I stop and resume scanning?
Yes. You can scan in batches and pick up where you left off.
Can I review cards before adding them?
Yes. Brink shows you each suggested card or document and you choose whether to add it. You stay in full control of what goes into your library.
Organization
Can I create folders?
Yes. You can create folders to organize your cards into groups.
Can I use categories?
Yes. Brink includes built-in categories such as Library, Gym, Student, Health, Insurance, Parking, Loyalty, Membership, and more.
Can I use tags?
Yes. You can add custom text tags to cards when saving or editing them.
Can I search my cards?
Yes. Brink includes a search feature so you can find any card by name or other details.
Likely Now
What is Likely Now?
"Likely Now" is a feature that surfaces cards near the top of your library that Brink predicts you may want based on contextual signals — such as days or times you've used them before. It's a suggestion, not a guarantee.
Why is Brink suggesting a particular card?
Suggestions are based on on-device usage signals available to Brink, such as when you've previously accessed a card. Brink presents the suggestion with a confidence level. The suggestions are predictions based on available signals and may not always be correct — all your cards remain accessible at all times.
